Youth                           

Our Purpose Statement:
Our youth ministry exists to REACH nonbelievers, to CONNECT with other Christians, to GROW in our faith, and to challenge to growing to DISCOVER our ministry, and to HONOR God with our lives

  The youth of the First Methodist Church are one of out most important assets. We are acutely aware of the fact that they can also be filled with uncertainty. Our goal is to be responsive to their varying needs while challenging them to live consistent disciplined Christian lives.
   Our youth are encouraged to participate in Worship at 8:30 am, 10:45 and 11:00 am Sunday mornings, Sunday School at 9:45 am, Covenant Groups, Youth Choir each Wednesday, and UMYF for Middle School and High School Youth each Wednesday night.
   Other opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth include rafting, Youth Week, Mission Week, camping, and many other activities. Spring and summer retreats are held to provide an enjoyable atmosphere for promoting spiritual growth.
