“Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.” (1 Peter 4:10, NRSVue)

On November 9th, we gathered for Celebration Sunday. It is always a sacred moment when we step up with a pledge of support for God’s work through our church’s ministries, and you responded in an incredible way. As of today, November 18th, we have received 78 pledges totaling $626,875 for our 2026 General Fund, putting us ahead of last year’s pace. There have been ten new pledges so far, and 29 givers have increased their pledges. This remarkable response is more than just a number; it’s a living testament to the shared faith, endless generosity, and steadfast hope that make our congregation a beacon in our community. Every pledge reflects hearts committed to God’s vision and a belief that, together, we can make a lasting impact for Christ.
While our pledges show our congregation’s growing strength, our journey is not over. To do what we believe God is calling us to do, we need even more pledges to fully fund our mission, ministries, and practical needs for 2026. We understand the economic challenges many in our congregation and community face. Inflation and uncertainty affect our budgets, just as they influence our church’s ability to serve.
Even during difficult times, our faith reminds us that generosity is about the spirit behind the gift, not its size. Each pledge, whether large or small, shows our trust in God’s abundance and our dedication to this wonderful community of faith. As United Methodists, we understand that giving is more than a financial obligation; it’s a spiritual practice and an active way to embody Christ’s love and join in God’s mission.
If you haven't made your pledge yet, there's still time. Every gift counts. Pledge cards are available at the church office or in the narthex when you attend service, or you can call our Finance Manager to make your pledge over the phone. Together, we can meet this challenge, ensuring that the ministries and outreach we cherish remain strong, vital, and faithful, even during these uncertain times.
We move forward not because we have to, but out of gratitude for all that God has done and continues to do through us. Thank you for the many ways you offer your time, prayers, compassion, and resources. May we keep walking this journey together, trusting in God’s faithfulness and responding with joyful hearts.
