Jelly Roll has a song titled, "Need a favor."
He sings, "I only talk to God when I need a favor. And I only pray when I ain't got a prayer. So, who am I, who am I to expect a Savior if I only talk to God when I need a favor? But God, I need a favor."
We too, often consider God to be the last resort when we are out of options. It is like consulting the doctor when it is too late for treatment and recovery.
God wants a relationship with us. We can talk to God about the big things and the little things in our lives. We can share our joys and thanksgivings with God as well as our problems. God is our Father and He wants to hear from us.
